New Pattern Now Available: Fat Baby Dino

I’m excited to say the test-knitting of my knitted toy pattern went very well and it is ready for purchase on ravelry.com or in the multicraftual etsy shop!

And here is what became:

This chubby baby dinosaur pattern uses a variety of techniques and can be made in any yarn weight. Simply use a needle two sizes smaller than what your chosen yarn calls for to create a strong fabric that the stuffing won’t show through. It also doesn’t use very much yarn so get out the scraps!

The purchase of the pattern includes a password to four clear video tutorials on vimeo specifically helping you through the trickier techniques in this pattern. This is meant to encourage newer knitters to expand their skills and learn new techniques on a small, stress-free project. Experienced knitters will enjoy it too 😉

-joining to knit in the round and increasing on double-pointed needles (tutorial provided)
-knitting on a circular needle (magic loop method, no tutorial)
-backwards knitted cast-on (sounds complicated, is super easy, tutorial provided)
